Bald Man and I were trying to think of what to get for our daughter’s birthday this weekend, and he stumbled upon this little beauty of a book at Amazon.
Double Pink written by Kate Feiffer and illustrated by Bruce Ingman was a book that, I’m serious, could have written about my daughter!!! Well, at least up through about the middle of the story. As you know, my daugher LOVES pink, as does the main character in this story, Madison. All of you self-proclaimed lovers of pink out there (I’d link to my mom, too, if she had an on-line presence. She is the biggest pink freak fan of them all.) will get great pleasure out of Madison’s first word, her pink obsessions, and her descriptions of things as double and triple pink!
But the book, and my life, beg to ask the question: Can you have too much pink? The easy answer for me is, “Oh my gosh, YES!” How ’bout you?
