Educational Placemats

Every moment can be an educational moment, especially mealtimes. My mom has purchased a number of placemats that keep my kids entertained and interested while I’m fixing dinner (I do actually do that fairly often!).
Their favorites are the animal placemats and the math placemats, and they love the write on/wipe off surfaces. I think they’re great tools to have when you need the kids to sit for a minute, but too distracting when I need them to focus on finishing their dinner! Ah well, nothing is perfect.
Visit educationalplacemats.com to see their vast selection of placemats that will help educate your kids while keeping your table clean! Discover placemats that teach you about everything from construction equipment to great composers to place settings to the Hebrew Alphabet. That’s variety.

Dang. Don’t your kids ever get a break for all that learnin’ and skoolin?
Never ever. Though I’m not sure everything they’ve learned is stuff that I’ve wanted them to!
We have some Elmo placemats with a bunch of letters and colors. Our kids drag them out of the pantry to play with them even when they are not eating. They are laminated which makes them practically industructable. Even only books were so tought.
Gotta love indestruction! At least where non-annoying toys are concerned.
My kids break them out at non-mealtimes, too. Good things to have around when I need to keep them occupied while I try to get one more post written!
