I mentioned yesterday that May is Tennis Month (and that we had a tennis giveaway coming soon), and to celebrate the United States Tennis Association (USTA) is giving one lucky Play Library a set of tennis racquets. The set will include 2 adult racquets, and children’s rackets to fit your children.
Who knows, with a little practice your child could become the next great tennis star, if not they could have a ton of fun this summer playing tennis.
The USTA is doing this giveaway to help kids become more familiar with the game of tennis, and to encourage them to get outside and give it a try. Last summer they began Quickstart as part of their Jr. Team Tennis program. It uses smaller courts and kid friendly equipment (smaller racquets and low compression tennis balls) to help get kids excited and playing tennis at a younger age.

We have two adults and two children in our family. My daughter is playing tennis for her school (6th grade) and has a cheap racquet right now. This prize would be perfect timing for us.
There are 4 in our family and with the torn and bent rackets we play with, these would be SWEET to have!
We are a family of four, my husband and I, and our kids, 5 and 6. I took tennis lessons as a kid and I’d love to get back into it. Especially if I could make it a family activity! I’d love to teach the kids a new sport. And we could all use a little more exercise! Thanks for the great contest!

We are a family of three and playing tennis with these new rackets would be a great way for us to be active together. My husband and I could play once or twice a week while my daughter is at school and then we could all play together on Saturdays.

There are four of us and we live close to a part and could make good use of these.

I would take my 12 year old son and teach him how to play tennis. He has asked me for a while and wants to learn how to play. I played when I was younger and now is the time to teach my son how to play.

4 in our family. The rackets would really help me because right now I cannot afford to buy a good racket and am forced to play with a very old racket and my sister also wants to play so I let her use my racket but the prize would help both of us to have our own and play together.
