For the past 4 days in Dallas, TX, toy manufacturers have had a chance to show off their newest products. Being able to attend the show is by appointment only. I just have one question: Where is MY invitation? Oh well, maybe next year.
SO what are some of the toys being previewed? Here’s a small sampling:
All of those sound interesting to me. You can read more details about the toys here.

Neat, Neat Stuff! Now, let’s just hope that when all this stuff comes out we don’t see recalls flying everywhere!
They do look interesting but I just hope they have stricter regulations. I have to go through all my toys for my little one and ensure they aren’t on the recall list!
Are they all unpainted? Digital pets for boys? Are they dragons or dinosaurs? Jarts sounds fun. I always wondered how they choose people to test market toys.
Sounds like some fun stuff!
I wish I could lhave went to the convention!!
I try to think of inventions all the time. My ideas are nothing like some of those out there.
Enter me for your drawing please.
The Zizzle one I’ll be reviewing next week and I can honestly say the girls are having a LOT of fun with this and it is easy enough my 4 year old can do it.
Jarts? That is an old lawn game that I thought was too dangerous so they quit selling it. I actually am a survivor of a Jarts game. My older brother and friends were playing and told me to go get the Jarts. They threw one while I was still running to get some of the others. I got hit in the temple with a Jart. I was lucky that nothing more than skin was broken.
I hope this is not the same thing!
I had Jarts as a kid! Did they reinvent them? It seems like they were pretty heavy and probably had metal parts before. These toys do sound pretty fun!
Sounds like some fun stuff. I’m particularly interested in the tin toys – I just hope they don’t have lead paint.
Thanks for the comments everyone. You’re all entered in the prize pot.
I had never heard of Jarts before. It should be interesting to see how they have improved them. They did say it was a lawn game, so it sounds like the same ones. As soon as I hear more about them, I’ll give you all a heads up.
And as far as the lead paint…yeah, let’s hope they leave that out.
Cool, finally some digital “toys” besides bratz and barbies!!!
Jennifer: It’s about time huh?
