This week’s Carnival of Family Life is up at Modern Sage: Advice for Practical Living! It’s another edition bursting to the seams with some fantastic writing. Kerri’s already shared her favorite posts from the carnival.
If you want to keep your kids occupied while you’re busy reading, get them some felt dollies from Little Wool Gatherings. They’re 8 inches tall with clothes that can be mixed and matched. Templates are even included so you can design more clothes of your own.

WOW! Thank you so very much for including my Penny & Paul felt dolls on your site. How very unexpected and kind!
I’m constantly amazed at how entertaining the basic and simple things are to my kids. Thanks for the reminder.

Melissa: Thank YOU for creating such darling little dolls! It’s fun just to look at them. I’m sure kids have tons of fun playing with them!
Holly: My son was playing with a toy mop and broom today. They were oars on a boat, magic wands, and everything he could imagine. Sometimes it is good when certain toys get put away as punishment.
