Fisher Price Bubble Mower

Kids love tools and toys that look like the tools of the adults around them. This time of year, that brings about gardening equipment, pots and seeds, and bigger toys like the Fisher Price Bubble Mower.

My kids have an older version of this toy that they play with at my mom’s house. Though the bubble part of it has ceased working (we have issues in my family with remembering to bring our toys indoors), the mower is still lots of fun for the younger kids to use to “help” around the yard. It makes a fun noise when it’s pushed that makes the kids think that they’re actually working. :)

And though it is fun to see our kids acting like little adults, never forget to keep them safe and away from the real tools when we’re using them. It’s a great time of year to have the kids playing in the yard with us, but they should never be around when dangerous tools are being used and can pose a threat to their safety.

The bubble part does work- it did the last time I was home anyway. Target has some fantastic kid garden tools-you should check it out!

  2. Kelli: Hey there. :) Mom tried this past weekend with no luck. :( I’ll have to check out those tools; we’re at Target about once a week!

I was wonering whereone could get hold of the replacement bubbles. I don’t fancy using a substitute just in case it mucks up the mechanisms for making the bubbles in the first place.

  4. Yvonne: I’m not sure where you could find official replacements. I’ve just grabbed a big bottle of bubbles from the local dollar store and they work fine without any damage to the machine. :)
