It’s too cold to get outside here this weekend, unless you’re a snowman, it’s been below 0`F( -15`F last night) here for several days. So I thought I’d catch up on my blog surfing. I found some great stuff I thought Play Library readers might be interested in so I thought I’d share with you.
For your weekend reading enjoyment:
- Operation No Kid Hungry~ 1 out of 6 children worry about where their next meal will come from, they may be right in your neighborhood.
- Have a KB Toys gift card? You can trade it in at Toys R Us and get a discount. I guess something is better than nothing?
- Spend Money To Save For College
- There’s a huge toy clearance going on at Target.
- Tips and ideas for planning your child’s first birthday party.
- Teaching your kids the art of “thank you.”
- I blogged about planning a Hotel For Dogs party at Kid’s Birthday Fun~ The movie premieres this weekend, I think we’ll have to go check it out.
This weeks Play Library highlights:
- Make your own snow paints (or buy a kit), then get out there and paint your masterpiece in the snow.
- How will the Consumer Product Safety Act affect used toys?
- Fun gadgets and toys from the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show
Have a great weekend, and stay warm!
