Harrison the Teddy Bear is the globe-trotting mascot of a Grade 2-3 class at Avon Public School in Stratford, UK. Teacher Barb Hacking has since initiated another 11 bears, including Harrietta, Bearietta, Bearison, Harrison, and Carrison.
Students, parents, or other relatives take the teddy bears travelling. The teddy bear caregiver must also take pictures
and write about the journey, the landscape, the climate, and the customs of the travel destination.
Seven-year-old student Julia Campbell wrote:
Bears love you no matter what. Bears want to be loved by us. They believe in you when you are scared. They love going on trips with you or going to your birthday.
All they want to do is help.

This is an excellent idea.
i do this with my babysitting kids,
i find a small teddy bear, we go some where fun
(ie the park, restaurant, etc)
and i brig alonng my camera and take pictures of them with my camera
Later we print off the pictures and write about our many adventures, the scenery, etc.
The kids i baby sit regularly love this,
they even ask their parents to take them some where, or a different park just to do this.
Its alot of fun!
