My son’s favorite toy of late is Kid K’nex. In this podcast, he talks about the different things he makes with the building sets. I think I’ve created a podcasting monster!

Too cute! The kids liked hearing Stephen. Jake climbed up on an old diaper box to try and see him. I told him it was only sound. Then he saw the K’nex and said, “Hey, those are mine.” Then he kept saying “bye” as you guys were saying bye.
If you think Kid K’NEX is a good toy, check out Toobeez. The kids can build much higher structures and they can play with them (fort, house) and the pieces are so large, they can’t be lost or swallowed. My 7 year old son and 2 year old daughter actually play together with the Toobeez. 1 happy big brother + 1 happy younger sister playing happily together = happy Mommy!
Kerri: Mine!!
Abby: Thanks for the tip!
Just wait until he begins using the “big kid K’nex”. My five year old is obsessed with them and he builds all sorts of amazing structures which adorn my entire home. I have stopped buying him sets, but other people get them for him for gifts so we are stuck with them. I think they are a fantastic learning tool, though, and he’s learning something about cleaning up after himself because if he doesn’t put them away his baby sister will eat them.
