Mally Lewis and Lamb Chop

mallylewis_lambchop_tv.jpgHow many of you remember Lamb Chop? I sure do! It brings me back to my childhood a bit.

Shari Lewis, who was the performer with Lamb Chop, died back in 1998. She was so well loved by adults and children alike.

Mally Lewis, Shari’s daughter, is carrying on her mother’s work with Lamb Chop and and has been performing with her since her mother’s death.

She also has a website entitled Phonics4Babies, which carries an educational DVD series. Her videos feature the Tummy Tots, which I think are so adorable!

If you want to give your child a jump-start on language learning, go check out these videos. I have not personally viewed these, but I have a feeling that if Shari Lewis’ daughter created them, they have got to be pretty amazing.

This is great. I LOVE Lamb Chop. When I was a little girl me and 2 of my friends had Lamb Chop, Charlie Horse, and Hush Puppy as our nicknames. This is so wonderful. I wish you the best.

I love Shari Lewis and LambChop. I feel sad Shari died. She is still my favorite! LambChop, Charlie, and Hushpuppy are cute. I still sing The Song That Doesn’t End and I annoy people with it. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!

Oh my gosh. I loved Shari and lambchop when I was younger, and I still love them now! But I was very very sad when shari died. I was so sad when I heard I didn’t talk for a week. She was one of my most favorite people in the whole world. I have my own lambchop doll that I have had since I was a baby! I really want to see Mally with lambchop again! Long live lambchop!
