New Animated Kung Fu Panda for Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon has a new animated Kung Fu Panda series in the works. The new series is being developed based on last summer’s mega blockbuster Kung Fu Panda movie, and will feature the same characters.
New Nickelodeon Kung Fu Panda the Series
The Penguins of Madagascar has been a big hit since its March premiere at Nickelodeon, coming in as their number 2 show behind Spongebob. Nick is pairing with Dreamworks again and hoping for similar results with Kung Fu Panda.
Here’s the scoop on the new Kung Fu Panda series according to Nickelodeon:
The series will chronicle the further adventures of Po, the energetic, enthusiastic, always hungry martial arts panda. He is aided by his mentor Shifu and the Furious Five: Tigress, Mantis, Crane, Monkey and Viper. Anointed “Dragon Warrior,” Po protects the Valley of Peace from threats of all kind.
I loved the movie, so I can’t wait to check out the new series.
