The Houghton Mifflin Education Place is a good source of fun and educational material for you and your kids. The site has resources for various grade levels and subjects.
For some fun activities to keep you inside and cool on these hot summer days (or inside and warm if it’s cold in your neck of the woods!), head on over to the Kids’ Place section, then to Games. I really like the Wacky Web Tales, because they remind me of the Mad Libs of my childhood days. (Fill in the blanks quickly and see how many parts of speech YOU remember!) Your kids will be having a blast without even knowing that they’re learning! Well, maybe they’ll know, but at least they’ll be having fun.
Thanks, sis, for sharing the site!
By the way, we need a few more votes for our toy spending poll over in the right sidebar. Have you voted yet? You’re not going to make me beg, are you? *begging*

Have we been reduced to begging? We have no shame.
/me begs for votes too
I ain’t too proud to beg.
(obviously)
Hello, this site is very good for children. I have one good Kids education site, is an educational non-profit site dedicated to inspiring creativity and excellence in children.
Cheers..
That looks like a great site, John! We love science.
