Shrinky Dinks

I’m not sure how we didn’t get mom to get us Shrinky Dinks when we were young, because I remember hearing about them and thinking they sounded like so much fun to do! I believe I was an adult before I actually witnessed the shrinking, curling, melting action of the product. And I was right, it was too fun to watch!
I stumbled upon this post at curbly.com that gives instruction on do-it-yourself shrinky dinks. It looks fairly easy, with readily available materials. Let me know if you try it out!
