According to Slate.com, the most popular computer game is none other than Solitaire.
Forget Halo 3 and World of Warcraft, Solitaire is on every Windows PC. It’s pre-installed, completely accessible and free. As a result, most people will admit to trying it at least once. In fact, it can be quite addicting.
Confession time – have you played Solitaire while at work?

I don’t know who hasn’t tried solitaire at least once! Although, I have to admit my personal favorite is spider solitaire- it is a little more of a challenge.
I play spider solitaire very very often. Usually I use it to wind down just before going to bed at night. I have played it back in grad school while waiting for stuff to incubate, etc. so I can say I did it “at work”. I have not played the regular solitaire in a long time – I used to do it with real cards as a kid, but never really got hooked on it on a computer screen.
