[...] I’ve yet to see the new Will Smith movie, The Pursuit of Happyness, but I understand that the Rubik’s Cube has a big part in that movie. Maybe that’s where the sudden new wave of interest is coming from? I will check that out as soon as it comes out on video. According to Play Library, Tyson Mao was the first person to solve the Rubik’s Cube in less than two minutes while blindfolded. He was also the “Rubik’s Cube consultant” who coached Will Smith on how to solve the Cube. Here is Tyson Mao’s online tutorial for solving the cube, which you can download as a PDF or as a Word DOC. BTW – I have one in my office that I picked up at a work conference a couple years ago. Very cool schwag!
