Sponge Bob Celebrating 10 Years

I admit I was not a Sponge Bob fan until the last couple years. When the show first premiered I didn’t like Sponge Bob, his voice and his laugh drove me crazy! But my son and my husband cured me. They both adore Sponge Bob, and since they control the TV 99% of the time Sponge Bob grew on me.
Now I’m a Sponge Bob convert. I’ll stop and watch it if I’m flipping through the channels and I find it on. I even laugh out loud once in a while (shhh, don’t tell anyone).
I was excited to hear Sponge Bob is celebrating his tenth year at Nickelodeon on July 17th. To celebrate Nickelodeon is having the “Ultimate SpongeBob SpongeBash Weekend.” Airing from July 17-19, the 50-hour programming event hosted by Patchy the Pirate will include 11 SpongeBob premieres and a top-10 countdown of celebrities’ favorite SpongeBob episodes.
Before the big weekend Nickelodeon’s sister channel VH1 will premiere Square Roots: The Story of SpongeBob SquarePants, an original SpongeBob SquarePants TV documentary.
