Strawberry Shortcake: Dance Dance Revolution

Strawberry Shortcake Dance Dance Revolution was one of the gifts my daughter received for her birthday. After watching her have a blast on the real Dance Dance Revolution for PS2 (when she could get us away from Guitar Hero), my sister thought this would be a fun gift for her niece.
We’ve…erm…I mean…..she’s had a blast playing with this game. The characters are cute, the songs are fun, and the moves start out nice and simple. The best part is that there are no gaming consoles required, it just plugs right into the TV. Other than that, it’s just a few batteries to get it to play. And, your own feet, of course.
My daughter and I each took a turn on it, and then my mom skunked us on it by beating the first round before we could. Go mom! Though we always knew she could dance; she is the one who taught me the twist, after all.

I wanted to get this for my 5 year old for Christmas but couldn’t find it anywhere. Luckily for me, she is perfectly happy playing DDR with us (we have Extreme 2 which has a nice beginner level) and I don’t really need to rush out and get this.
Char: Hey there.
It did seem like she was able to do the regular game, so that does work great for everyone who has the system and all. I do think this one is good if you don’t have a Play Station and, like us, just want this one game. I think it was purchased at Target.
I am SOO going to get this for me and my husband!
Teri: It is a fun one! Let me know if you like it.
Maybe I need to get this for me because I have no clue how to dance!
Karen: It took me forever to get the timing right on this game! But maybe that’s because I’m not so good with coordination and can’t dance, either!
I’m not coordinated and I sure can’t dance. I’d probably have a difficult time with it too. I’d probably need a tutor. lol
