If you bought a swing set and climber from Wal-Mart, Walmart.com or Toys R Us between January 2008 and May 2008 that looks like the picture below, it has been recalled by the Consumer Products Safety Commission due to 114 injuries from broken hangers that are supposed to hold the chains for the gliders.

The swing set recall notice states that customers should remove the gliders from the swing sets and contact the manufacturer to receive free replacement glider hangers and repair instructions.

For additional information, you can contact Backyard Leisure at (866) 546-7902 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT Monday through Friday, visit the company’s website at www.adventureplaysets.com, or email the company at custservice@adventureplayets.com
