Seven Random Playtime Facts

Okay, so, Maricar tagged me on June 13th, and I’m finally getting around to keeping up my end of the deal (less than a month later—woohoo!). Basically, it’s a Seven Random Facts About Me kinda thing. I figure I’ll do my best to relate it to playtime.

80’s Video Games in a Joystick!

80’s Video Games in a Joystick!

Look at these fun video games! I had no idea when I first saw these that several games are included with the joystick. You can just plug them into the TV and play! What a fun way to share some of your favorite “oldie” video games with your kids without trying to track down the Atari 2600 that might still be in your parents’ basement.

V. Smile TV Learning System

My daughter’s new friend introduced her to the V.Smile TV Learning System made by VTech. She loved it!
I think this was her first experience with a video game, or at least the type that requires a joystick. Up to this point, I think her only experience has been on-line games at PBS and CBeebies. Certainly, it was a much more high-tech experience than my Atari 2600 of the 80’s!
