I remember when my son loved Bob the Builder, and Thomas and Friends. He’s going into the fifth grade this year, so of course he’s moved on to more action packed viewing. I still remember how fun and heartwarming some of the story lines were.

Bob the Builder-Yes you can! Yep, that’s my almost 3 year old (only 9 days before you no longer have to hear me referring to him like that) wearing his costume a full 15 days before Halloween. 15 days.
That would never have been allowed when we were younger. I remember the great suspense of actually getting to wear the plastic printed apron and the matching plastic mask that made your face sweat about 30 seconds after putting it on. We must’ve bugged mom for days waiting to wear those coveted costumes!

V. Smile TV Learning System

My daughter’s new friend introduced her to the V.Smile TV Learning System made by VTech. She loved it!
I think this was her first experience with a video game, or at least the type that requires a joystick. Up to this point, I think her only experience has been on-line games at PBS and CBeebies. Certainly, it was a much more high-tech experience than my Atari 2600 of the 80’s!
