Another couple of videos for you kids of the 70s and 80s out there! The first confirmed my memories of The Electric Company starting out with an enthusiastic, “HEY YOU GUYS!!!!” And Spiderman, too. I had begun to think that I’d imagined that combination for some reason, but here it is:

Winnie the Pooh’s 80th Birthday

Last week, my sister found this Disney Winnie the Pooh Storybook Collection on sale at Borders. Within a couple of days, we’d read almost all the stories in the book which are not the original AA Milne prose, but still delightful. Each of the stories refers to situations children often find themselves in. My son’s favorite is Roo’s New Babysitter, which makes sense because he is seldom away from me and is still new to the idea of spending time with other people on his own.
