Dora Has A New DVD~ Dora And The Three Little Pigs

If you have a Dora the Explorer fan in your household you’ll have to check out her latest DVD “Dora and The Three Little Pigs,” the DVD also contains three additional episodes:

“Bouncy Boots“
“The Big Red Chicken’s Magic Show“
“The Mayan Adventure“

In her latest video adventure Dora and Boots set out to save the three little pigs from the big bad wolf. The pigs are in trouble after Swiper the Fox wreaks havoc in Fairyland. Can Boots and Dora save the day? Of course she can!

One of my favorite finds this spring was the Water Wow! line of “coloring books” from Giddy Up. Including Backyardigans, Hello Kitty, Dora the Explorer and Sesame Street themed Water Wow! Doodle Books, these little books provide a clean, stain-free experience for your kids.

Educating Our Kids with Bilingual Toys

Several of the toys and books in our home offer a bilingual feature. We have books that are written in both English and Spanish, at least one English/French book, and, of course, the ubiquitous Dora and Boots. Honestly, I think my daughter knows more Spanish from her few years of Dora than I remember from my two years of high school Spanish (you know, that I took just a few wee years back ).

V. Smile TV Learning System

My daughter’s new friend introduced her to the V.Smile TV Learning System made by VTech. She loved it!
I think this was her first experience with a video game, or at least the type that requires a joystick. Up to this point, I think her only experience has been on-line games at PBS and CBeebies. Certainly, it was a much more high-tech experience than my Atari 2600 of the 80’s!
