I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that it really is possible to get a decent photo of your child with Santa without standing in the long lines and paying a good chunk of money out at the mall. Just to be clear, I’m not at all saying that you shouldn’t go there, but wanted to provide ideas and alternatives for you!

Free Pictures with Santa

The line to get photos with Santa is already a seemingly never-ending snake of frustrated parents with their impatient kids in tow. At least that seems the case at our local mall.
I did the mall Santa thing for a few years, but quit shortly after our second child was born. He is NOT good about sitting for photos. It seemed a waste of time and money to stand in line for almost an hour to drop 15-20 bucks for kids who were crabby, tired, and hot by the time our spot in line came up. …read more
