Our Halloween costume contest is over, and we have a winner. I want to thank everyone who submitted a costume photo to the contest. It was great fun checking them all out. If you want to check them all out for yourself, hop over to SanDisk’s Flickr photo group, then search for the term Halloween to see all the cute costumes in one place.

It was fun to hear all these childhood favorites will be starring in a new DVD, Trick …read more

This year, my 3 year old wants to be a carrot. A carrot!! Where did he come up with that? I can’t even get him to eat carrots and now he wants to dress up like one? Oy. I know I could find one online. I guess if …read more

It’s almost Halloween time again, already! For the first time, I’m starting to hear of communities hosting a Trunk-or-Treat. Have you heard of them?
Apparently, it’s an alternative to the traditional Trick-or-Treating, providing the same fun of getting together and gorging on sweets, but without the potential dangers of walking along dark streets to the homes of strangers.
The general idea, from what I’ve gathered, is for a group of people to gather in a parking lot, with all the cars parked so that the trunks are facing each other. Kids come in costume to do their begging from …read more
