Toy Creation: Astronaut Hat

Here’s an astronaut hat my son and I made this week. It’s got nine planets, a sun, a moon, a spaceship, a nebula, and two satellites. Simple to make using construction paper, pom poms, pipe cleaners, foil paper, and broken space toys.

For a while, my toddler was really interested in vacuums. He would make them out of most anything. Here, he’s created one using a plastic back scratcher and a miniature Tomica sports car.
