Okay, so, I’m making my way through the sites that Jennifer mentioned in the comments here, and I started with PsychoBaby and it made me laugh. Okay, the site itself didn’t make me laugh (though some of the products were cracking me up). But I started laughing because it reminded me of a backpack that I was shown the other day. A friend had bought this adorable little pink backpack for her daughter, completely girly with roses all over it.
It wasn’t until she got it home that she noticed images of skulls intermingled with all of the roses in the print of the fabric. That cracked me up. (Yes, I know, it doesn’t take much!)

Anyway, looks like there are some cute and fun (and most definitely unique!) products over at PsychoBaby. I especially like the hat featured above, though all my kids came out with more than their share of hair. I wonder if they carry one for Bald Man, though.

Thanks for the tip, Jennifer.

I keep forgetting to share with you a new site featuring adorable handmade baby gifts! From our favorite island girl comes the Island Baby Boutique. The Hawaiian Print Bibs are adorable and, though we all know how I feel about teeth, I have to admit that the personalized Tooth Fairy Pillow is too cute. I can’t say that I’ve ever heard of a Diaper Shirt, though. Must be an island thing.

Well, we’ve just accepted the first pair of kid Crocs into our house, and they are definitely here for the long haul, so I thought I’d share my first-hand review.
Grandma bought a pair for my oldest son because they were orange and he loves orange. I wasn’t sure, because he is always the first one to take off his shoes in the house, the car, or anywhere else he can manage to pull them off. I didn’t think these would fare any better, but thought we’d give ‘em a go.

He LOVES them! He will not take them off! And I’ll tell you what, I’m thrilled, too. Not only are they great because he thinks they’re great, but they are so easy! He can put them on all by himself (he’s almost 3), they can be thrown under the faucet if they get dirty, they can be worn with or without socks, and are very kid friendly. I also happen to think they’re darn cute.

So cute, that I asked for a pair for myself for Christmas. My mom, having less delay of gratification abilities than even I do, went ahead and got some for Bald Man and me (my daughter is holding out for the pink in her size). I was actually bummed that they didn’t have any orange in my size, but they are oh-so-comfortable. They are now my all day slippers. My back actually feels better, the holes keep my feet cooler than slippers, and my toes no longer get knocked into every table leg. Love ‘em!!

My only thoughts on the knock-offs are that a friend bought some, then returned them because they hurt her feet so badly. I’d stick to the originals, but then I didn’t have to dole out the cash for mine, either. Thanks, Mom.

Keep an eye out for their next feature film production scheduled for release in early 2008 called The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything.

There is an abundance of VeggieTales “stuff” that is available.
