Over the past few weeks, Play Library readers have been discussing the harm Magnetix can cause if swallowed. ProductSafetyMom aka A Mom has been keeping track of the controversy at her blog Magnets Can Kill. She writes of the purpose of her blog which is at MSN Spaces:

Magnetix Toy Recall

Following up on my previous warning about the dangers of swallowing parts from the Magnetix toy, the company has decided to officially recall 3.8 million kits. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has received reports of 34 incidents. And reader Melissa wrote to tell us about her family’s near death experiences with Magnetix.
