Yet again, I fail to understand why the toys included in the Happy Meals from McDonald’s are representing a show that most kids aren’t watching. Unless I’m just wrong (that happens fairly often), is American Idol a show that most kids in the under 10 set are glued to? I was confused, too, last summer when the kids’ meals were promoting a movie (Pirates of the Caribbean) that kids weren’t even allowed to see!

Free Movies at Regal Cinemas

The kids and I had a great day today out at the movies—for free! Some friends and I packed our kids up and went our local Regal Cinemas for their Free Family Film Festival. Today’s showings were Madagascar and The Polar Express. We all watched Madagascar because “we like to move it, move it; we like to move it, move it!”
Selected G & PG movies start at 10AM each Tuesday and Wednesday during the festival. First-come, first-served seating is limited to theatre capacity. The Free Family Film Festival is safe, lots of fun and a great way …read more
