Did you know Star Wars has it’s own day? Today is the day, May 4th. Now you can go tell all your friends, “May the 4th be with you.” May 4th has become Star Wars day because some clever being came up with that saying.
So if you’re a fan, or just like to think you’re saying something clever to your friends, go forth and celebrate Star Wars Day, have a Star Wars marathon, and make sure you tell everyone you see, May the 4th be with you.
Everyone else… Happy May 4th!

Star Wars Stormtrooper Action Figure, Not for Play

My son loves Star Wars stormtroopers. I’m not sure what the appeal is, but he loves them. Today, he picked out a Star Wars Stormtrooper action figure at Target (it also came with a Star Wars coin), and it’s feet fell off within an hour of play. Not only that but the gun is affixed to the Stormtrooper’s hand with a rubber band. Suffice it to say, once the rubber band comes off, it’s nearly impossible to get the Stormtrooper to hold the gun again.

This story comes via Playthings.com. A story of a pink droid, somehow related to the beloved R2D2, created to honor the life of a little girl named Katie. This droid’s name is R2KT. I love it.

This vacation, my husband has been busy collecting these Star Wars Titanium Series spacecrafts. We have looked high and lo in many Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us stores. And I know he’s not the only one who’s still collecting Star Wars crap stuff.
Experts say “Star Wars” goods have shown surprising strength this year despite the absence of a new movie — even beating merchandise from summer flicks such as “Cars,” “Superman Returns” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.” “Star Wars” is the top seller so far this year of action figures and the biggest merchandiser for …read more
