Jessica is a shill.

My experience was the same as yours. The post is such flimsy plastic that it is all but impossible to spin the seat by turning it.

I bought one of the Simon says sit-n-spin and BOTH of my kids loved it! We have medium carpet and they had no problems. Its even getting passed down to my niece, so its on kid #3. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Ours has been well worth the money!

At least the flimsy construction allowed me to take the toy apart and repackage it for return to the store. I guess that is an important lesson when it comes to toys, games, etc.; if it isn't going to work or work well, return it and get your money back before you or the kids get frustrated with it and break it.

Welcome to PL (again).

I wanted one too. Who didn't? That's a sad story though about the new one. Too bad. Stuff is made badly. I also really wanted an easy bake oven and a Snoopy Snow Cone Machine. Never got the easy bake. Although, I had this cool boyfriend who got me a snow cone machine (when I was 20) he got it from a thrift store but it still worked. That was cool.
