Yahoo! Video Games released its list of the top video games being released in the summer of 2008. Here is what they came up with:
- Guitar Hero on Tour for Nintendo DS (released June 22nd)
- Battlefield: Bad Company for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 (released June 25th)
- Beijing 2008 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC (released July 8th)
- Soul Calibur IV for Xbox 360 and PS3 (release date – July 29th)
- Madden NFL 09 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PSP, Nintendo DS, PS2 and Xbox (release date – August 12th)
- Samba De Amigo for Wii (release date – August 19th)
- Mario Super Sluggers for Wii (release date – August 25th)
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PS2, PSP (release date – August 26th)
- Mercenaries 2: World in Flames for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (release date – August 31st)
- Lego Batman for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PS2, PSP, Nintendo DS (release date – September 7th)
- Spore for PC and Mac (release date – September 7th)
