Bring Out Their Inner Prince or Princess

Bring Out Their Inner Prince or Princess

Bring out your child’s inner prince or princess this Halloween, with these adorable costumes that would also be perfect for a princess and prince birthday party, or for dress-up just because.
Kid’s love to dress up, so I think it’s great when I come across Halloween costume ideas that kids can wear over, and over again. I think these Shabby Apple costumes are the cutest.
All of Shabby Apple’s dress up costumes are hand made, which I think is very unique these days.
Check out these adorable princesses. Whether your daughter wants to be a Disney princess, or the princess in her imagination, …read more

Hannah Montana and Wal-Mart Join Together

Hannah Montana and Wal-Mart Join Together

Wal-Mart stores announced today that they have joined forces with Disney to have more than 140 Hannah Montana products for sale in their stores.
Wal-Mart says that they want to be the source for “accessible” and “affordable” licensed products. Since the Hannah Montana tickets were so incredibly expensive, they say they’re trying to give us more access by selling Hannah Montana themed products. I don’t know if Hannah Montana pajamas are as exciting as concert tickets, but I think I get what they’re saying.
Wal-Mart will have everything from Hannah Montana clothing and wigs to food and glass …read more

Have You Heard of Polliwalks?

Are these not the cutest shoes you have ever seen? A Newburyport husband and wife team are hoping you think so!
Joel Rusnak and his wife, Cheryl Andonian, of Newburyport are the brains behind these shoes, which are called Polliwalks. They recently started a footwear company featuring duck, alligator, frog and ladybug-shaped plastic clogs with animal-shaped treads. Imagine the prints these shoes are going to leave on the ground! So adorable.
The Daily News interviewed Rusnak and Andonian about their new shoe company. Here’s part of the interview:
Q: Where did the idea for Polliwalks come from? A. …read more

Oopsie Dazie Unique & Creative Hair Accessories Review

Oopsie Dazie Unique & Creative Hair Accessories Review

My daughter loves to wear her hair in a pony tail. It’s one of the only ways she will wear it, so we are always looking for hair things to make her pony tail a little more interesting.
There’s a little shop called Oopsie Dazie that sells unique and creative hair accessories. We received 2 of them and my daughter loves both of them so much. She was very excited to be able to wear something new in her hair and she also said she got a lot of comments from her friends about how cute they are.
She wanted to wear …read more

Dress Up as Your Favorite Toy for Halloween

I am having a really hard time with Halloween costumes this year. My kids don’t EVER choose easy costume ideas. They always want to be original and it’s never a costume I can pick up at the local department store. Nope, I usually have to get really creative and hit several different stores.
This year, my 3 year old wants to be a carrot. A carrot!! Where did he come up with that? I can’t even get him to eat carrots and now he wants to dress up like one? Oy. I know I could find one online. I guess if …read more

PsychoBaby

PsychoBaby

Okay, so, I’m making my way through the sites that Jennifer mentioned in the comments here, and I started with PsychoBaby and it made me laugh. Okay, the site itself didn’t make me laugh (though some of the products were cracking me up). But I started laughing because it reminded me of a backpack that I was shown the other day. A friend had bought this adorable little pink backpack for her daughter, completely girly with roses all over it. It wasn’t until she got it home that she noticed images of skulls intermingled with all …read more

I keep forgetting to share with you a new site featuring adorable handmade baby gifts! From our favorite island girl comes the Island Baby Boutique. The Hawaiian Print Bibs are adorable and, though we all know how I feel about teeth, I have to admit that the personalized Tooth Fairy Pillow is too cute. I can’t say that I’ve ever heard of a Diaper Shirt, though. Must be an island thing.
So, head on over, and pick up a few very special and personalized gifts for the new babies in your life! Adorable products, …read more

Adorable Apparel from SATees

Adorable Apparel from SATees

I do believe that this is the first time I’ve ever written about something that just popped into my e-mail inbox, but these were a little too cute not to share.
This little onesie with the word “indefatigable” aptly describes my kids as babies (I’m sure yours, as well ), and it would’ve been adorable having them crawl around sharing the truth of their nature on their chests!
You can check out all of the fun onesies, and t-shirts, too, at their website. They are quite whimsical.
