You know sometimes this job is really tough, testing out kids toys, checking out fun kids movies. Yeah, real tough. Today I got to check out The Dog Who Saved Christmas. I love Christmas movies and dogs, so I was really excited to check out this movie.
It turned out to be a really cute family movie. It’s a little bit like the movie Home Alone, only the dog is the one home alone. The movie is a little silly funny at times, but kids will love it!

We went to see Disney’s A Christmas Carol in 3D today, and I have to say I was a little disappointed with the movie. The 3D effects were very good, you could definitely tell it was done by the same person who did Polar Express. I’m just not sure the movie was for kids.
My son’s 10 and he covered his eyes and refuse to watch several times. He’s not usually scared by movies. Not sure if it was the 3D part that was getting him, or just the ghosts themselves. The ghosts were really bizarre. I did like the third …read more

Thomas The Tank is going to be making his debut on the big screen. There is a new Thomas the Tank feature length movie scheduled to premiere in theaters in the spring of 2011. Thomas was first created back in 1945, and he’s been a favorite for preschool boys for many generations.
My son loved the Thomas The Tank videos, books, and toys when he was younger.

I have more fun stuff for preschoolers today. Nickelodeon is rolling out a new live action, music, comedy series this fall. The Fresh Beat Band premieres on August 24th at 12 noon.
Nickelodeon is hoping kids will get up and dance to the fresh new sound of The Fresh Beat Band. The show will be about 4 friends who are not only in a band together, but also go to school together, and  love to sing and dance.
