We always watch the Charlie Brown holiday episodes this time of year. I love Charlie Brown Christmas, and A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. I have several of the Peanuts classics on VHS tapes, and I keep nursing them along year after year. I may have to update and get some of the newer editions sometime soon.

There are tons of new holiday movies and shows these days, but I still love the classics, they’re the movies and specials I look forward to watching every holiday season.

My son loved the Thomas The Tank videos, books, and toys when he was younger.

Thomas is being brought to the big screen by Josh Klausner acclaimed writer of “Shrek the Third.” Mr. Klausner will be developing the script for the new movie.

In 2010, Thomas the Tank Engine will celebrate  his 65th Anniversary. He’ll be celebrating all through the year with new friends and new adventures, all to build up to the release of his new feature film in early 2011.

I remember when my son loved Bob the Builder, and Thomas and Friends. He’s going into the fifth grade this year, so of course he’s moved on to more action packed viewing. I still remember how fun and heartwarming some of the story lines were.

It was fun to hear all these childhood favorites will be starring in a new DVD, Trick or Treat Tales, produced especially for preschoolers. Here are some of the episodes included:

They’re celebrating the new Tinker Bell movie coming out this fall, Tink and the Lost Treasure, you can view the trailer for the new movie at the Disney Fairies website. The movie is set for a fall release to Disney DVD.

To celebrate Tinker Bell’s new movie Disney is releasing new Fairy toys and clothing. Here are a few of my favorites from the new line.

First up some Tinker Bell Fairy gear, a couple fun t-shirts, a backpack, and a new line of Tink bags can be found at many major retailers.

I love the new fairy dresses. These would be so fun for a little girl’s fairy party, or to play dress-up with friends. Each dress in the collection represents one of the magical characters in the film.

Tinker Bell also has a new line of personal care products.

All fun stuff if you have a Tinker Bell fan in your home.

Soccer Mom was released on September 30th, and it stars Emily Osment of Hannah Montana and Missi Pyle of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  The movie is about a single mother who poses as a famous soccer player to try to save her daughter’s soccer team.  Sounds like a cute premise!

Soccer Mom is rated PG.  It’s 92 minutes long and retails for $19.97.
