These are the toys Santa sees on children’s Christmas lists over and over this holiday season. These aren’t in any particular order, and there are many more popular toys out there way to many to put them all on this list. These are just the toys I’m hearing plenty of buzz about this Christmas.

1. The Twilight craze is huge so there are several Twilight games and toys landing on tweens and teens Christmas list this year. Topping the list is the new Scene It? Twilight Deluxe Edition, where tweens and their friends can test their Twilight trivia knowledge.

2. Zhu Zhu Pets seem to be the hot toy for kids this year, the toy that retailers can’t keep on the shelf in 2009. Zhu Zhu pets are little lifelike hamsters that each have a unique personality, and interact with your child. There are 4 different hamsters, Mr. Squiggles, Num Nums, Chunk, and Pipsqueek. There are also Zhu Zhu Pet playsets and habitats for your little toy hamsters to play in.

3. Ucreate Music would be wonderful for the musical child on your Christmas list. This digital music system allows children to mix up their own music and create their own songs. This year the trend seems to be technology for kids and this is one popular example.

4. Barbie’s Pink Townhouse is topping the list for Barbie fans this year. This is the deluxe dream home with an elevator, a fireplace, and a flat screen TV, Barbie’s definitely not roughing it! I would have loved this for my Barbies when I was a kid.

5. Bakugan Toys are topping little boys Christmas lists this year, and the most popular is the new Maxus Dragonoid a 7 in 1 Bakugan ultimate monster.

6. Rocky the Robot Truck is at the top of the Christmas list for preschool boys. Rocky The Robot Truck can dance, and interact with your child with over 100 phrases, for hours of fun and entertainment.

7. The Littlest Pet Shop Pet Adoption Center Playset tops the list for kids who love pets and animals. If you’re going to adopt a pet at Christmas time this is a great way to do it.

8. Jakks Pacific technology toys, like the EyeClops Night Vision Goggles and the EyeClops Mini Projector are two more popular examples of technology toys for kids this year.

9. Qwirkle tops the list for board games this Christmas season. A fun game that challenges you to use logic and strategy to create columns and rows of matching shapes and colors.

10. BFC Ink Fashion and Large Dolls are among the top selling dolls this Christmas season. Each doll has its own unique personality and style. Your child can pick their favorite or collect the whole set.

First up WMF Animals Flatware a child-sized 5-piece stainless steel flatware set designed to stir kid’s imaginations. We received Bing the Bumblebee, and my son stole him right out of the box, and claimed him as his own. Of course he had to take Bing apart and check out all his options. He used it as a pillow, then used it as a blanket. Later we put it all back together so he could just use it to snuggle.

I’ve been checking out the Zoobies for a while now, so I was excited when we received Bing. I think they’re great travel buddies for children. They can provide the comfort of a familiar face, but they can also serve as a pillow or a blanket for a long car or plane ride.

I think we may have to purchase another Zoobie so I can have one for myself.

This morning I was checking out the Family Fun top 10 toys for this year on Regis and Kelly. Their top rated toy was the Invasion of The Bristlebots. Bristlebots are part robot, part toothbrush. They look like they’d be a ton of fun. You can snap the bots together, decorate them, and watch them cruise around on their bristles. The bots also come with a book that has 12 different activities kids can do with their bots. Sounds like a toy my son would love.

Their number two toy was the Pyramid by Playmobil. My son could have made this list, this sounds like another toy he would absolutely love. The children actually get to build the pyramid structure themselves then they can reenact Egyptian life.
