When we went to get my son’s DSi the other day, he used a gift card and some birthday cash to buy a new game to go with his new game system. He wanted The Legendary Starfy for a couple weeks, so he finally bought it with his birthday money.
Starfy looks like a cute and cuddly little star, but he’s really a villain fighting hero. With his rough and tough sidekick Starfy is on a mission to help a visitor who’s lost his memory.
The Legendary Starfy (like many popular DS Games) comes originally from Japan. It challenges players to fight …read more

My son got a new DSi last week, so we’ve been checking out all the applications. He’s having a blast recording his voice and playing it back. He’s taking pictures of everything, himself, the dog, whatever’s going by when we’re riding in the car…
We checked out some of the online applications, and the store. I’m trying to figure out how to download books to either the DSi or the DS Lite. If I can figure it out I’m going to adopt his DS Lite.
I’ve been thinking about getting an iPod touch, but if I can do the same thing on …read more

My son loves the LEGO video games from Star Wars to Batman he’s a big fan. He’s also a big Rock Band fan (he loves the drums), so he was super excited last night when I told him they’re coming out with a new LEGO Rock Band. He wanted to go get it now, then I had to explain to him that it won’t be coming out until fall.
LEGO Rock Band is a brilliant combination, how can they go wrong? I’m loving the drum LEGO dude, he’s adorable!
LEGO Rockband will be hitting stores just in time for the holidays later …read more
The New Nintendo DSi

My nephew gave me the scoop on the new Nintendo DSi this weekend. My favorite feature is the camera. The new DSi has two cameras, one faces inward (toward the player) and an outward facing camera (facing away from the user when the game is open) with 11 different lenses. Since I’m a photo buff, I’d really love to check that out!
I keep telling my son that I’m going to buy myself a DSi. He says no way, if I buy one it’s his. Hmmm.
Ok, so the new DSi does have some other notable features.
Larger screens
Better sound (with both a …read more

My son received Pokemon Platinum for Easter this year. In his words the game is pretty cool. He says it’s similar to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, but better.
There’s a new Legendary Pokemon in the mix for you to capture, and he says the story line has changed just a little from previous versions.
He’s a true Pokemon fan, he enjoys catching training, and battling his Pokemon against his cousins. Since my nephew is another Pokemon fan (he has the new Platinum and the Official Game Guide to go with it) they were thick into plotting out their game play earlier tonight.
