Remember the Nintendo Wii was the “it” item during the 2007 holiday season? People lined up at stores and paid large sums of money to get their hands on a Wii. Well, this year, Toys ‘R Us is taking advantage of the 2007 shortage and advertising that its online store has Nintendo Wiis in stock and ready to ship right now.
Will it be as hard to get a Wii this year as it was last year? I certainly hope not, but if you’re at all concerned about it, you might want to get your Wii sooner rather than later. Toys ‘R Us has the Nintendo Wii Bundle package available online right now. For $359.95, you get:
- Wii Console (Wii Sports, a sensor bar, an AV cable, a Wii Stand, a Wii Remote, and a Nunchuk controller)
- Super Smash Brothers Brawl Game
- Bee Movie Game
- Spyro: The Eternal Night Game
- SoulCalibur Legends Game
I’ve been wondering if I should get a Nintendo Wii for my 4-year old triplets. It looks like there could be some fun games for them to enjoy on a rainy day. Frankly, I want to play with it, too. What do you think?

Once again, manufacturing need…I don’t know why, but I’ve lately been getting really annoyed at how much earlier the retailers are preparing for each season. Back to School sales in June, Halloween in August, Christmas in October, give it a rest already!

The Wii still seems like it’ll be the hot item of 2008, but something will come along soon and take its place. My sister couldn’t find a Wii in the stores this year but found one in-stock online at http://www.linejumpers.com
