Vacation Toy: Mini Robosapien V2

On our yearly visit to my parents’ in California, it’s always a big shopping spree. This week also happened to my son’s birthday so on top of what we’ve been picking up on our daily shopping trips, the number of his toys increased at least two-fold with gifts. One of his favorite finds is this Mini Robosapien V2. The two-foot tall Wow Wee Robosapien V2 scares the heck out of him but he loves the miniature version which is less than half the size. Still, he’d rather play it safe and won’t let us put in any batteries. Defeats the purpose, but whatever makes him happy!
I’ve got two more weeks in vacation shopping mode and will report back on what other toy goodies we’ve found.

If experts are to be believed, my son’s children will be able to have conversations with their robots and my son will be able to say, “When I was your age, we didn’t have any robots to keep us entertained.
