Video Gaming for Kids

One thing we don’t cover a lot of at Play Library is video games. Mostly it’s because our kids are too young for bona fide games on the Play Station, XBox, Wii, or what have you (I do know my consoles because my husband is an avid gamer), but also because we’re not as in tune as some of our other fellow b5media bloggers. Today, I’m featuring some posts from our sister video gaming site, Play Girlz.
- Disney’s Toontown Online
- Food Force Now in Seven Languages – free and teaches kids about world hunger
- Kids Game Helps Cancer Understanding
- Cutetrix – a cutie version of Tetris. Another Tetris-like game is at Cbeebies Balamory called Snow Storm.
- Child’s Play to raise money for children in hospitals
Hope this will feed the video game addiction!

Hey, hope you don’t mind the plug:
As a person who develops software for preschoolers, I’m interested in the idea of
teaching life skills, like sharing or listening, along with typical subjects like numbers and letters. Feel free to take a look at my
latest project, Cheeruppetworld “Book One” – you might find it interesting.
Best Regards,
