Wii Games For Girls: Imagine Fashion Party

Imagine Fashion Party Right before Christmas I talked about all the Nintendo DS Games that are coming out for girls. Imagine recently came out with another video game aimed at girls for the Wii.

Imagine’s latest Wii video game for girls is Imagine Fashion Party. Where girls can express themselves with different workshops including hair, makeup, clothing and accessories.

Do you have a future fashion diva? Once they’ve created their designs girls can compete in their own fashion runway show.

Show off your runway style by using the Wii remote and nunchuck, or the Wii fit balance board if you have one, to give your models the right moves to impress the judges.

You can also share your Fashion Party designer collection with friends in a photo shoot, or catwalk show via Nintendo WiFi.

This game sounds like it would be a ton of fun for a group of tween girls to get together and play. Could you imagine the giggling, and the funky fashions they would come up with?

  1. It’s really amazing to me how popular fashion games have become. It makes sense, but from a male perspective, I never would have thought to create games based on fashion. Just goes to show how tricky marketing can be for products that start out as male focused.

The Wii has done an amazing job reaching out to gaming enthusiasts that don’t fit the traditional ‘core’ mold. Well done, Nintendo!
