5 Things You Will Need for Any Type of Party

Parties are a big business right now. From party planners to party emporiums, everyone has something to celebrate. And while you don’t have to bring in the big guns to plan your event, there are a few things every party has in common.
- A Plan - It doesn’t matter if your party is a last minute occasion or has been in the works for months. You’ll need a plan. That includes a shopping list, a head count and a floor plan, even if you’re holding the event at your home. Will you be playing music or hiring? Will you be catering or buying? Without a plan your party can be a disorganized flop.
- A Location - Can’t have a party without a place to party.
- A Guest List - Unless you want to party by yourself, it’s a good idea to invite people.
- A Date and Time - Whens and wheres are important.
- A Theme - I don’t mean you have to plan a luau or or bring in the Spiderman plates and pinata, but you should generally know why you’re having a party and what, if any, decorations will be needed.
