Beautiful Christmas Wreath Ideas You Can Create Yourself

Creating a beautiful Christmas wreath doesn’t have to be difficult. It’s really not hard to make your own Christmas wreath, and it’s probably cheaper than purchasing one already decked out.
Just purchase a fresh, or craft evergreen wreath and add your favorite decorations with wire or hot glue (just be careful with the glue gun around children).
Weave some ribbon in and out of the wreath, attaching the ins with a little hot glue to hold them in place.
String some lights in your wreath, there are even lights available that run on batteries, if you need to hang your wreath where there’s no outlet available.
Make or buy a large bow.
Here are some photos for inspiration:
Dangle a beautiful ornament, sign, or cute stuffed animal from the center of the wreath.
Holly berries, and small ornaments can also adorn your wreath.
Fruit can also make a nice addition to a holiday wreath.
Wire larger ornaments and sprays to the wreath.
Pine cones (especially scented ones) will put your guests in the Christmas spirit the minute they walk in the door.
A stick swag sprayed with white paint, and a decorative ribbon can add a simple but nice touch.
Dangle sprays of flowers.
Wish your guests a Merry Christmas.
I hope one of these holiday wreaths inspire you to create your own. Just pick out what you’d like to add to the wreath and get started.

I did not create my own – but I picked up a lovely one at a garage sale for $2. I am totally surprised how happy it makes me to come home. Every time I see it, it lifts my mood. I need to scout out a Christmas one for a similar effect. I’m thinking door decor is the way to go.
