When I listed the things you could celebrate in August I missed National Dog Day! How can I miss celebrating our four legged friends? I have some great ideas to help you plan a dog party, whether it’s for National Dog Day, your dog’s birthday, or you’re celebrating a new puppy in the family (or adoption).

Celebrations just finished up pet party week on their blog, and they shared several fun tips from party experts to help you plan a party for your pets.
My son’s in 4-H with our dog, and his 4-H club gets together for a summer party, and they bring the dogs. Dogs and kids have a camp out, play games and have a great time telling “dog” stories around the campfire.
