Children’s Party Ideas: Legos Birthday Party

Lego cake

Last fall my son went to a Lego birthday party. The kids all receive a kit to build a Lego project – and this was also their party favor as they were able to take it home.

The hostess also made a Lego birthday cake by making a rectangular sheet cake and putting two smaller round cakes on top. She finished off with blue icing.

I thought this was a wonderful and creative birthday party. The kids ran around for a bit and then they came in to work on their projects and calm down a bit.

The Betty Crocker website has directions for making the Lego birthday cake and it’s not difficult at all.

It just goes to show, you can do almost any theme imaginable for a kid’s party. You’re only limited by your imagination.
