Meatballs are a favorite for holiday carry ins and potluck dinners, even for Thanksgiving, at least in our family. This year Quaker Maid Meats is challenging you to create your own meatball recipe to enter into the “Give Thanks to Mama (Lucia)” Meatball Recipe Contest.
Turkey, pumpkin pie and meatballs? Who knows – maybe you’ll start a new holiday tradition in your family if you don’t already have aunt Jane’s famous meatballs at your holiday dinner. If you already have a meatball family favorite, submit it to the contest!
Your meatball recipe could be famous with more than just your family. The recipe entries will be judged on creativity, eye and taste appeal, and suitability for Thanksgiving.
What about the prizes? First prize is a 6-Quart Crock-Pot Smart-Pot with Countdown Slow Cooker, complete with programmable cooking times from 30 minutes to 20 hours. Second and third prizes are 4-Quart Crock-Pot Slow Cookers with Travel Bag for toting to picnics, potlucks and parties of all types.
