Thanksgiving and Christmas Have you started planning for your holiday entertaining yet? Today’s the first of October, that means the holidays are coming fast. Halloween is less than a month away. If you’re planning a Halloween party you should be thinking about getting your invitations in the mail within the next two weeks.

I’ll have a Halloween party planning roundup for you coming later this week.

What about Thanksgiving? It will be here in less than 2 months (57 days). It’s not too early to begin planning your menu, or table decorations. Here are a few things to get you started. More will be coming in the next few weeks.

Christmas is less than 3 months away (95 days).

You can get a head start on your holiday baking by starting to bake cookies, and storing them in the freezer. You can also start planning your menu, planning decorations, ordering Christmas cards, or invitations.

The more organized you are now, the less hectic the holidays will be later.

October is going to be an exciting month. I have several holiday planning, tips, tricks, ideas, recipes, and activities coming your way in the next couple weeks. The entire Lifestyles network has Blogtoberfest going on during the week of October 7th where you can win some great prizes. I’ll also have a few more giveaways at the end of October to kick off the holiday season. Stay tuned!

If you don’t subscribe to the She Knows Parties rss feed now would be a great time to get signed up so you don’t miss any of the great information, prizes and fun.
