All of our Thanksgiving dinners are potluck meals where we all bring a dish to share. One of my favorite Thanksgiving and holiday potluck dishes is green bean casserole. When I make it I like to use either fresh, or frozen green beans, not canned. Here’s the official Campbell’s® version:
Campbell’s® Green Bean Casserole
Prep: 10 minutes
Bake: 30 minutes
Makes: 12 servings
2 cans (10 3/4 ounces each) Campbell’s® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (Regular, 98% Fat Free or 25% Less Sodium)
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 bags (about 16 ounces each) frozen cut green beans, cooked and drained
1 can (6 ounces) french fried onions (2 2/3 cups)
1. Stir the soup, milk, soy, black pepper, beans and 1 1/3 cups onions in a 3-quart casserole.
2. Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the bean mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the bean mixture and top with the remaining onions.
3. Bake for 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
What’s your favorite potluck dish?
