With Christmas right around the corner and New Year’s on its way, most likely you have or will be invited to a party or two. I always think it’s a good idea to bring the host/hostess of the party a gift. The gift is just your way of telling them thank you for inviting you and showing them that you appreciate them.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll give you some great hostess gift ideas. Some you can make yourself and some are a little more extravagant.

Five Fabulous Things…You Can’t Live Without
This is as much fun to give a hostess entertaining you as it is to buy: Think of five of your favorite things, the most fabulous things you love, enjoy, andjust couldn’t live without. For one person, that’s a certain magazine, and for another, it’s a gadget. It can be anything that you just adore. Fill a box, or basket, or bag with these items, and a note that says, “Here are six fabulous things I can’t live without. You already know you’re the first!”
I just love this idea and have so many ideas spinning around in my head. When I think of some of the things I can’t live without I think of my favorite wine, a good book, some luxurious lotion, my favorite chocolate and my wine preserver. What are five fabulous things you can’t live without?
