Make Your Own Evergreen Table Decorations

Decorations for your holiday table can be as simple as walking outside and snipping a couple branches off of your evergreens. Some of my favorite evergreens to take a snip of include fir, juniper, blue spruce, holly, or pine boughs. Any of these would look great added to a Christmas floral arrangement, or strung from the fireplace mantle.

You can also add to a large vase with some fresh fruit, like oranges and lemons, or arranged with Christmas bulbs, or pine cones and white lights to make an evergreen garland down the center of your table.

If you don’t trim too heavily, you won’t even know the branches are gone. You can also use the trimmings off of your Christmas tree, instead of throwing them out, or purchase greens at local garden centers, or Christmas tree farms.

You can also use your fresh evergreens as part of a Christmas centerpiece.
