Olympics Party Food

International Olympic food If you’re planning a Summer Olympics party, give the food a world-wide theme. Make a flag or banner for each dish, explaining what the food is and what country it represents.

Keep the foods simple, but try to represent as many countries as you can. Finger foods, and sandwiches will work the best, and keep things simple for your guests.

Here are a few ideas:

  • Hot dogs from the USA
  • Pizza from Italy
  • Mini eggrolls from China
  • Tacos from Mexico
  • Brats from Germany
  • Jamaican Jerk Chicken from the Caribbean
  • Gyros from Greece

For drinks, offer beers and wines from around the world to the adults. Along with Gatorade, and fruit punch for adults and children.

This menu looks delish! Here’s a cute way to incorporate Japan to add to your list…http://blog.asianfoodgrocer.com/2008/07/beijing-olympics-party-plannin.html
